At this point the hammer handle should be pointing about 6-7° to the left of the target.  A momentary hesitation occurs here as the right leg, formerly bent at a 15° angle, thrusts the body forward as the upper body pitches forward, and the right arm swiftly extends, elevating the hammer head an arm's length above your head (Fig.3).
