I had the incredible good fortune to personally attend this demonstration by Roberta Elliot, of Cobden, Illinois at the 1994 ABANA national conference in St. Louis, MO. This lady is a serious metalsmith and some of the work I have done was definitely influenced but what she showed us at the conference. This beautifully illustrated recap of the demonstration originally appeared in the BAM newsletter shortly after the conference. It is available as a single file, "Berts_Bell.pdf " - Approx. 32 Kb.
