Page 4 of 5  This is one happy squirrel feasting on cicadas. Notice what is gripped in this paws? Now that they are dieing off by the thousands, my neighborhood is beginning to smell like someone left hamburger out for a bit too long. It's just disgusting. You can scoop the carcasses up by the handful. I have heard of folks eating them or making tea out of the shells as a cure-all, but I have been a bit too faint of heart to give that a try myself.
