Page 1 of 11 Several years ago, when I first posted the how-to "To Light a Fire," I received several e-mails asking for details on the design and construction of the forge used in the pictures. Over the years, I have received fairly regular requests for the same information and placed the topic on my "round tuit" list.
After years of trying to get that "round tuit," I finally took some photos as we set up for a show. It is not my intention to give you, the reader, a blue print on the construction of this forge, but to give you some ideas that you can take with you to create your own version. I am making a few assumptions while providing this description: - You understand the basics of how a forge works
- You can assemble a crude table structure out of wood
- You understand how a bellows works
