From late in 1994 through the end of 1996, I was the editor of the Journal for the Upper Midwest Blacksmiths Association (UMBA) and, more than 10 years later, I still have some of the original files laying around. The Techniques Archive is a collection of these original metal-craft articles, some written by me, some written by my friend Jeff Knight, and some from other folks and ABANA chapter newsletters from around the nation.
